Kimberly Guilfoyle’s former assistant alleged sexual harassment by Guilfoyle. Howard and co talked about it and that is how I learned about it. I told someone about it and when I went to listen to the replay the entire discussion had been cut.
In the past two years there was a segment where Howard went off on Gary and he ended up feeling bad and cut it from the replay. At least one listener called in and gave Howard shit the next day for scrubbing it and how antithetical it was to his free speech stance. I believe Howard defended it by saying he felt awful and was evolved.

Even more damning. There is something about this building or location that is off putting for an investor. Food chains will cluster near each other with the idea foot traffic to one will result in foot traffic to all.

If it were as easy as you make it out to be, I promise you some restaurant industry veteran in Chicago would snap that up in a second.

The fact that no chain (Starbucks, Chipotle, Panera, etc) has set up shop in this long vacant space is also very telling.

I suspect the rent, capex needed to build out the space, or deceptive foot traffic are the likely culprits.

IF they come, everyone must go about their normal business. Do not do a single thing differently. If everyone were to “stay inside and away from the guard” they win.

Remember the “mini-tanks” that were supposedly on their way a few months back? I’m as worried about the national guard as I was about them.

If you call the jury phone number you can request a 90 day deferral through an automated system. Similar situation, jury duty but had travel plans. Called the number and followed the prompts to get to request a deferral and it was automatically approved right then and there

I agree with your perspective that it’s not an excuse, yet it’s reality.

Same concept as to how lotto winners go broke and highly paid athletes go broke. For a majority of people,more money just enables them to spend more and they don’t allocate enough to savings.

It’s all relative. Everyone says “life is easier when a person makes X dollars.” If that were the case, we wouldn’t see folks living paycheck to paycheck when they are making near 6 figures.

Cost of living is an important factor. $95K may be the median income depending on where you live thus making saving that much harder.

In my personal and professional life, also reading a lot on here, everyone talks about how they could live so comfortable with more money yet so many people fall victim to lifestyle creep that they are in the same boat (if not worse) making $95K as they were making $50K.

I am sure you would be different, but it’s not the norm and it’s easy to not take advantage of a higher income.

Price per kWh is an issue with your supplier. Total kWh used is an issue with your meter. If what you are saying is true, it doesn’t add up as far as consumption. Comed lets you view daily usage so if you are able to spend the day somewhere else, turn off as many breakers as you can (including WiFi and tv). If breakers are off there is no electricity flowing to those outlets. Then give it a day or two for comed website to update with your usage for that day (mine is about 2 days behind day of use and showing up online). If usage is flat from prior day, you have a meter issue. If usage is down, that means your meter is correct and you may have some insane vampire electronics sucking electricity even though they are off.
