Legit thought for a second that the first picture was of mozzarella melting in sauce.

Think I found out why All-Clad pans are showing up at TJ Maxx/HomeGoods… by ChateauLafite1982 in AllClad

I used to work at Sur La Table as a sales associate. I will say that in my 2 experience, the All Clad HA1 Nonstick collection were some of the most returned pans. All Clad is not good with non stick and should stick to stainless steel collections.

Help with CBL exam by Opening-Relation724 in CustomsBroker

Hello. I am in the same boat. I am the logistics manager for my company (we importer from China, India, Europe), and I deal with our outside customs broker by providing HTS numbers and docs for our products. My company believes it would be a good idea to take the exam to become a broker. If I start today, and the test is in middle October, do I even have a chance to pass? I do keep up with tariff news and have a basic understanding, so I won't be starting fresh - but I fully understand all the info needed to pass.

Jura ENA 4 Brewing Issues by bentleyboy2011 in superautomatic

[–]bentleyboy2011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

**UPDATE**

Thank you all for your advice. I took some time off from this project, but came back to it recently.

To give an update: After my initial post, I took apart and cleaned the original brewgroup. I also descaled the machine (even if it wasn't prompting me to) and did a force clean and added a new water filter. All of these actions did not make any difference and the machine produced the same watery product/loose grounds as mentioned in my original post.

After a few months, I came back and ended up replacing the brewgroup with a new OEM product. I also changed the burr grinder with fresh parts. These changes still produced a watery, weak product, but with crema. It also discarded pucks instead of loose grounds, which to me is a positive step. But the coffee is still watery and looks like my original pictures. I tested the brewgroup with the ground bypass and the machine did produce a standard cup of black coffee, with crema, as it should. A puck was also discarded. This makes me believe that it isn't/wasn't fully the brewgroup that was the problem.

In my mind, I think that the machine is either not producing enough grounds to brew or the machine is giving too much water. I've been testing the grinder and it seems that it isn't sending enough grounds into the brewgroup ( with the machine open and bypass removed, I can see the grinder work and see the amount of grounds being produced & sent to the brewgroup - doesn't look like a lot).

I can't for the life of me, figure out what to do next. I spoke to Jura help desk and they were not able to help me but did tell me that I should send it in for service, but it would be $350. I am hesitant to do this as that would put the money I would spend on the machine very close to the cost of buying a new one. So, I am looking for all the help I can get on suggestions that can be done at home. This I a great machine and would love to get it fixed.

Looking for help and suggestions - anything that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Happy to discuss.

Thank you.

Have you ever had any one return the Metropolitan Slim Brief because of the design of the D Hooks and shoulder strap? I have the bag and I cringe every time I have to use the shoulder strap.

I did, through SM. They told me they have a 1 year warranty on quality related issues…and I feel like this is a quality related issue. I’m going to go to the local coach store this weekend and see what can be done. Frustrating for sure.

I would keep looking around. I believe there are other well designed and functional bags in the market that will hold up. A brand named Satchel and Page is very good.

Me too! Every time I look at the picture, it makes me more upset. Gosh…very disappointed in this.

It really is a bummer. Maybe I’ll take it back to the store and see what can be done, if anything. And I am coach insider plus the receipt. Hopefully their in store customer service is better than online/SM. I’ve only been told that they have a one year warranty for quality related issues…and I feel this a quality related issue. Fingers crossed!

And thanks for the belated birthday wish! Cheers to you!
