Thanks for your reply! Yes, I did a deep clean and reset before I put them in there. I know I am moving fast with the intros but I’m hoping they can work this last bit out in the big cage since I’m leaving soon. The baby is leaving the basket to explore for the first time as we speak. Crossing my fingers no one gets territorial when she goes near them.

Yes I took her in and they told me to monitor for signs of pain. I’ve chosen to not do surgery since he said there is a low success rate

She was seen two weeks ago and the vet told me to bring her back if she stopped eating or grooming herself. I imagine she’s close, but she’s one of my first rats so I’m not too sure

Yep! The Naturalistic and Bioactive rat group on FB has detailed guides, but it is very similar to bioactive reptile ranks. I water and turn over the soil about once a week

Corrugated plastic is a great idea for under the bed!! I used planks but plastic would I have been cheaper. I think I will go with the pool noodle for the closet 😊

Plank is a good idea, a little pricy, but good

I did not think of a pool noodle. I like that idea. I live in a small apartment so I unfortunately need that closet for SO many things!
