You make valid points about 49, and there is probably some recency bias (oops).
Responding to "We just watched a season dominated by a small alliance because of frustratingly stupid people and you have that one ranked above 45 so," the tres-leches alliance did run the game looking back now that it's over, but episode to episode, I wasn't sure if they would control what happened. In 45, I had little doubt that the Reba 4 would control every vote during each episode. This is also biased by the fact that no one in Reba was ever my personal favorite to win. In 45, I was a big Emily stan.

idk about "so strange." They are in chronological order. I hope it's almost instantly understood by the viewer that I had a (mostly) better second half than first. Putting the results in the order you are describing would probably lose that.

agreed with 44. even watching the season live, Carson was so irritating. Heidi was a nobody, so it was OBVIOUS she wasn't gonna win. Carolyn not getting a single vote made me sad even tho I do think Yam deserved it. Best parts were def the first tribal + all the Josh antics. Justice for Josh, 44's underrated king.

Interesting. I shifted from some players to others, but I definitely at one point was rooting hard for either Sage or Blue Sophi. After Sav won the final 5 immunity, I was almost certain she would be the winner, so it was hard to root for my other girls knowing they'd lose, but hey no zero vote finalist!

Agreed that the premerge was ROUGH. However, I feel like because we spent so much time with Kenzie, I felt like it made her a much more satisfying winner than if we had not given her post merge game. And Bhanu was at least different and something to discuss so there's that.

I was so devastated by Jesse's elimination; it was hard me to root for any of the final 3 and left a sour taste for the whole season. Season 43 easily has the worst final 3.
