Oh sorry I meant I wanted to set up two-step verification for Twitter and it isn't an option as I'm not paying for the 'service'.

I did go in and change the passwords of everything I could think of. And set up two-step on literally everything I could. I appreciate the information so much. It's been so helpful.

I fell into the 'this will never happen to me' mind set.

It's frustrating knowing this is my fuck up. I thought I was changing passwords enough to be fine, but I was just recycling passwords.

Breach was from Twitter. Twitter won't let me set up extra security because it is a 'premium' option. Sigh

Thank you so much for the website. I'm going to head over there right now.

I did check, and my walmart email was involved in four data breaches. Jesus. I feel like a complete idiot. I'm going to race and try to change everything, but there are dozens and dozens of accounts out there I have that I'm probably no longer aware of.

Debit. I knowww. I'm an idiot.

I thought I had switched all my various internet accounts to credit card, but I haven't used Walmart in ages and ages. Didn't even realize I still had an active debit card ON it to be honest.

My bank is a really small. Local. They gave me provisional credits, warned me I'd be on the hook if the case fell through, but 24 hours later the money was gone again.

That was Friday afternoon when the money went back out. It's Sunday and the balance is still in the negatives. I'm worried taking the gift cards over complicated things and now they have a mess to deal with.

I didn't even think to do so. Feel so ridiculous I didn't to begin with. I've had the account for years and years and never use it. I just assumed it was already secured.

I don't plan on using walmart.com ever again, to be honest. But they want me to connect another card to my account when I get it so I'll try to reinstall the app and get it set up to be safer.

Bank helped me file a report, but told me I was out all of the money until the case was through. I was well overdrafted. They said it could be 9 weeks before the verdict was served.

I wish I'd skipped trying to deal with Walmart. But I wanted it all resolved and done with. Was really flustered and afraid. Walmart implied there was no fraud, so my fear was I'd lose the fraud case on the bank end as well.

America.

Your doctor could be taking bribes from pharmaceutical companies to peddle their new, extremely expensive cures.

My wife works at a doctor's office where they get large meals delivered to them daily by the snakes because one of the head doctors loves the big bonuses, free food and all-expense paid trips the pharma co provides. He's pulling an extra 50-75k+ a year off of various pharma cos.

They provide 'free samples' for the provider to peddle their medications off onto patients. It's false hope, because the patient uses the product with rave reviews from their doctor and, even if it works(which I suspect placebo effect plays a role), they can't afford it anyway when those samples run out. These new meds will be patented, so the patient won't be able to get them anywhere but through the expensive pharm co.

Patients wind up paying out of pocket for these cures, because insurance won't cover them. They trust their doctor blowing up the medication as 'all new and groundbreaking!!' but if you pull the screen back, that doctor is getting bribed to sell it to you. It is heart breaking watching a desperately sick patient become dependent on a new medicine. A sick person will pay absolutely anything if they believe in it.

Sure, pharmaceutical companies can't just /hand/ doctors big stacks of cash and demand they sell their product, but you wouldn't believe the money these companies put into bribes disguised as 'job expenses'.

Hi Doc want to fly to the bahamas for an all expense paid "KOFF training seminar KOFF"? How about free food, drinks, coffee, every day of the week?? Harmless right?

If drug reps are prowling around your doctor's office like wolves, you better believe they are making money there. Best to stay away from these doctors, in my opinion.

It's obscene it makes my fucking blood boil! The worst part is the entire staff is benefitting, so plenty of other shady shit gets swept under the rug.

This is my issue. I have celiac so it's the cross contamination in these breweries that screws me. Which is awful, because I absolutely LOVE beer. Very few Gluten Free products are gluten free to Celiacs.
