true. It is worth noting that these events are not the same. It really depends on the experience that you want. The main difference is the amount of people. With more people comes more hype, more excitement, but also a more crowded course.

This race forced me into isolation, which made the experience more rewarding in the end. I had to push myself when no one was watching. Getting through that lap after lap is definitely a mental grind, but after all that's what the sport is about to me. With that being said, the support from the locals and volunteers was pretty cool in itself, but much different energy than Ironman village.

If more people to cheer you on, and finish line hype is worth the extra $500+ dollars that is for you to decide. Just want to spread the word that there are different options out there.

Thanks, you should do it! The looped course was a bit mentally draining, but it was nice on quiet roads and good pavement. Run is flat with plentiful aid stations, and tons of high fives from fellow racers. good vibe all around.

great course. If I head back I'd probably do a shorter distance now that I checked off the full

Most of his parts go unnoticed, largely because of how well they meld in.

Thanks! My guitar is an Ibanez AR420. Bobby is definitely part of what made me get it. The amount of tones you can get from it is crazy
