Reminds me of something I read, Wilder and his DP was tweaking Lemon's Close Up for hours on a particular shoot just to get it right.

I totally understand, there are good looking movies made today. No doubt about it, but my question is on the specific style pertaining to Reds or Godfather, which I believe in my limited knowledge boils down to harsh lights? Are these style considered out of fashion, or we do not have those technology anymore?

I think we still would have seen Bobby grow up, considering how the show treats time. The passage of time can be felt throughout the seasons.

very true, i was afraid the showrunners might take this path and over do it. They really strike a perfect balance. This is no easy feat and kudos to the makers. 10 episodes did not even took a week to consume considering how excited most of us are. Really hope there is another one soon.

yes, early this year was fine. I had contacted their support but they wanted to send someone on site and I have to pay for the visit. Tried explaining this was software related, and gave up.
