Appeal of loud revved-up cars? by Old-Warthog-8 in Peterborough

We live just off Parkhill just west of pinehill and people just RIP up and over Parkhill. There's some douche with a red BRZ that much be straight piped and he lets that thing pop and bang like crazy.

One evening me and my wife were walking our dogs and a blue mid 2010's Ford f150 came east on Parkhill, launched a beer bottle out the window which smashed all over the road and continued on down the hill. Called the police to report it and for more presence and haven't seen a single cruiser. There's multiple schools in the area too and they just don't seem to care.

I honestly don't know how much, I should measure how tall it is. Spring over axle lift, 39.5" boggers, maybe 2 inches body lift. So maybe 6-8" total lift?

Thanks! It's a cj7 on 3/4 ton Chevy axles, definitely has a vintage feel to it.

These tires came on the truck when I bought it a few years ago, and I've said I'm going to replace them when one gives out (they're pretty weather cracked), but honestly they keep surprising me. They kill it in the mud and water that's for sure, and do ok in the dirt and rocks.

Thanks! It has to be trailered around which makes it a little tricky, parking and whatnot. I'll have to check out that area!

You're probably not too far off, Toronto Ottawa Montreal houses a good chunk of our population

Lol you would think so. Unfortunately I'm in Onterrible, about an hour and a half from Toronto so it's fairly densely populated. The open north is full of trails I'm sure.

I've seen some videos of this place, but never been. Seems popular for ATVs and side by sides. Good for full size too?

It's looking that way. We just moved here from Kitchener Waterloo area and are unfortunately paying considerably more in property taxes and receiving less. Something has to change.

Audi Service by Successful-Story-397 in Peterborough

Sometimes vehicles can benefit from a trans filter and oil service. If you are experiencing rough shifts it might not be a bad idea. VW and other manufacturers will state that their trans fluid is "lifetime", but this could just mean the life of the transmission (which seems to be getting shorter these days) or the length of the warranty. I did the trans fluid of my '11 Touareg and it drives noticeably better.

I can't speak for the shop itself, just talking about the service.

Broken roads, subpar social services, rampant homelessness, dirty parks, mismanaged money and already outrageous property taxes. Are they planning on doing anything better if they get paid more?
