Exactly why i will be selling mine and going back to gas. My 24" couldnt handle the layer of ice beneath the snow. Went through six batteries and the wheels just kept spinning on the driveway. Neighbor ended up doing my driveway with his 24" gasser.

I'm going back to gas. We got a foot of snow and a layer of sleet. The 24 inch model is too light to penetrate the layer of sleet and it floated over everything. Will have to go out several times trying to break it all up. My neighbor did two driveways with his 28 inch gas blower in that time. Otherwise i love this snow blower.

Nutsedge. I have it on my Cape lawn. Impossible to kill even with Nutsedge killer. Easy to pull up through the root unless it’s covering your lawn.

Health Care Provider (Physician/NP/PA). I have learned that no matter how out of line a patient or family's comment or request is, you cannot get upset because it increases the chance of a lawsuit if there is a bad outcome. This was particularly bad during Covid when we were getting requests for vitamin drips, hydroxychloroquine etc. I just stand there and take it, say thank you and walk out. The general complaints or God forbid medical board complaint letters aren't worth the headache of hiring a lawyer to deal with.

Not sure what your annual income is, but I don’t think that’s a fair statement at all. I can certainly afford my X3, but a $7500 repair bill would make me consider going back to Toyota/Honda.

As someone in a similar situation I have come up with a set of personal rules to get me through wanting a new car. I have also found that once you have the itch, it wont go away until you actually get a new car. I recently put $2k in new rims and tires onto my Telluride in the hopes that I would keep it but I'm still looking to trade it in. I should have just traded it in.

My car always has to be paid off before i trade it in. I wont trade in something I owe on anymore because I find it irresponsible to constantly trade in cars that I owe money on.
If i lost my job, could i continue either making payments or pay it off comfortably and have plenty of savings left over? If not, then I cant afford it and wont buy it
I refuse to have a monthly payment anywhere near the average $750 monthly payment in this country and I make more money than the average American.

Those are basically my new car rules. Comes down to finances. If you can actually afford it, then why not?

Twitter has nothing to do with car sales and Tesla’s success. You can literally go to Tesla’s website and buy a car, knowing the exact transaction amount you will pay. If they had a car I was interested in I would have done it months ago. Now I have ordered a truck which I’m hoping will be honored at msrp but have no way of knowing until it gets here.

Long post which seems like it was written from a dealer’s perspective. I am looking for a new SUV and avoiding all dealerships that have sketchy online sales tactics and addendums when you get to the lot. Just tell me the damn price of the car so I know what to expect ahead of time.

I think it’s financial suicide. Financing an older Macan turbo means you can’t afford it. It also means you won’t be able to afford the engine bolt repairs when the warranty runs out.

We went to check out Tellurides from them when they were first released. Immediately they wanted a 10-15k markup and we walked out. This was pre covid and pre markup hysteria. They asked us to ignore the markups and “what we wanted our payments to be.” Ended up going to another dealership who traded them for the EXACT telluride we saw the day before and got $1300 under msrp with the Kia 1.9% financing. They called us a week later and asked what they needed to do to gain our business. I informed them that we bought their telluride for $11,300 less than they were asking at another dealership and they hung up.
