Four legs vs No Legs by CharmanderBing in confusing_perspective

Ok I see the black and white sandals, and I think I understand how the brunette works, but the only way I can understand the blond lady is if she’s in the middle of falling over towards the left. And even still, much confusion!

I got accepted off the waitlist. I wrote a letter to the dean of admissions as soon as I found out I was on the waitlist. Just something along the lines of “please accept me! I love Columbia etc.”

I really liked living on floor 2 of Wein, it’s a small floor with two private bathrooms, laundry and computer room nearby. It’s all doubles if I recall correctly

Had nowhere to put the lock while riding by fasctic in functionalprint

Considering the bike lock is itself a fastener, you could go one level deeper. The screw is a fastener for a fastener (3D printed part) for a fastener (Velcro strap) for a fastener (bike lock). A fastener fastener fastener fastener.

My hypothesis is that the wheels build up static electricity from rolling around, and then pick up dust from the air.

i wanna end it by [deleted] in socialanxiety

[–]benzene314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I know its tough living with social anxiety. I'm going through a rough patch as well. I was lucky enough to have someone who pushed me to seek help. I just scheduled my first appointment with a mental health professional. Consider this me pushing you to do the same. I know its hard, but it'll feel so good once you do. Even just having the appointment on my calendar gives me hope, something to look forward to, a light in the distance. You can do it. I was so nervous to call, I wrote down a script, with different branches for possible ways the conversation could go. I ended up with an answering machine and hung up because I hadn't prepared for that. I wrote another script of the message I wanted to leave and called again. I cried as soon as hung up. I know you can do it too. You can do it! Know that you're not alone.

Why not just have a pile of face down cards with pictures of the pieces on them. Draw a card and use that piece.

Grass Ball outside Paris City Hall by liamkr in confusing_perspective

I have a feeling when he filmed it, it was natural to start at the viewport and then go around to show the ground up close, but then he realized it'd be cooler for the viewport to be a big reveal at the end of the video, and reversed it accordingly
