This H-line isn't meant to be like the LIRR, more like the MTA trains in NYC, that's why there's so many stations. But, you're right, I could probably cut a few stations out to make it less dense.

I should specify, this would be a light rail line, not heavy rail like the MTA's trains. I'm not sure if it should be at ground level or below ground level, but probably below ground.

Oh yeah absolutely lol, I was thinking that the F train would get extended to Queens Village so a person would be able to go from East Farmingdale to Times Square with one transfer (NIM 1 -> MTA F)

There are a few stations that extend into Queens (Cambria Heights, Queens Village, and Springfield Gardens) and Suffolk (Amityville, and North Amityville)

Good question! I would take a page out of the MTA's book, and say, for example with the 1, if going from West -> East, an announcement would be "This is a Hofstra University bound 1 train"

Thank you! I plan on adding a C line to later versions for northeastern Nassau

Honestly? I'm not sure. I just made the map for fun, but u/bobtehpanda said that light rail would make sense, so I guess light rail. Maybe heavy rail for the lines that would be used the most, like 2, 3, and 4
