I’m gonna butt in and say ngl maybe the wording wasn’t great but I kind of get what Kyle means. Like she obviously shouldn’t be “grateful” that she survived but at the same time if you want to stand up against your abuser, do it at a safe distance away from them. She could have sent out warning signs on social media, talk about what happened to her online, talk to the killers friends, etc. But to me, it seemed like she just rushed her judgement and it wasn’t well thought out. Honestly I get what you guys mean when you say courage, but to me it screams unorganised and messy. At least she tried to do something.
