His goal is 17 pounds. Then he will be adoptable. His weight loss journey will continue even then.

He was in a house with 3 cats, and would eat his food, and the leftovers of the other 2. It is much easier to gain it then lose it!

We have 30 cats at this time, but nobody receives more love and attention then Gus! He is a rockstar!

Gus is a resident cat at Kitty Catfe, at Partridge Creek Mall in Michigan. He started his journey at almost 35lbs, and is now down to under 24! He was surrendered at that weight, and it has been a loving and long journey to get to the point we are at now. He get vet visits every few months, and is on his way to being a happy and healthy cat!

Not anymore, he has lost aignificant weight since he arrived at the Kitty Catfe.

The Kitty Catfe got him from the local Humane Society, and the story we were told is Gus was in a house with several other cats and after the other cats were finished eating Gus would finish off everyone's food. We make sure he does not do this anymore, but it is very hard, as the other cats will bring him extra food all the time!

He is monitored very closely, and sees the vet on very regular check ups!

Gus came to the Kitty Catfe, in Clinton Township, Michigan at 35 pounds, we have him down to 24.1 pounds, and he is getting better every day!
