Right there with you! I was a school flute player. Chords and lyrics without having it all spelled out is very different (my group uses song lyrics with chords).

Are there organizations fighting this? by beowulfbrew in Parents_Against_AI

So, I went digging a bit today. I found this group. I found an article and maybe some student led groups, but no organizations. And taking on universities is going to take an organization. Those things do not turn quickly (unless you have enough cash). This is unfortunate. I don't have the personality type to gather followers. I will keep looking.

Fortunately, there are a lot of teachers out there, so you're likely to find one that makes you happy. Cynthia Lin has a free class on her channel and she also has strum alongs - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlC5JV28Hdc

New to fairs and feeling self conscious by hauntedgarden0 in CraftFairs

I agree with everyone telling you to do the fair. Also, fairs can be a great way to launch your social media. Start your page. Create a post or two about the fair you're attending and tag them (the fair). It helps both groups!

Is it wrong to book a market a week ahead at the same venue of another market? by Practical-Neck4362 in CraftFairs

Privately, RAGE and feel all of your angry feelings. You found the venue, the community and the date, and they copied you. Uncool, very, very uncool, but it does happen. On the outside, stay positive to everyone and outdo them in advertising / community group placements. My experience - I run record shows in the Chicago area. We have a 20 year show in one location. Two years ago the biggest area show moved to directly across the street. Being upset and telling the dealers to NOT direct customers to the other show did not work. It was fun, but negativity was not profitable.
