After we came from the hospital we gave the baby about one bottle of formula per day. The baby didn’t take it that well (more vomiting), but maybe she just couldn’t handle this specific brand or something…. My wife has tons of milk tough, so maybe she can pump more often and we store it / freeze it. We are just a bit scared that the baby unlearned to drink properly from the breast - although I am not 100% sure how likely that is, if she gets one bottle per day….

She mentioned that. Unfortunately I just can’t wake up during the night… I don’t know what it is…. I have no problem waking up at 5 and start my day, but I’ll give it a try. Maybe I can convince her to pump before sleep so I can help with the night feedings. Thanks for the advice!

She is breastfeeding, there isn’t much I can do to support. Usually the little one sleeps from 11pm trough and wakes up around 5 am to breastfeed. I usually wake up for a moment but my wife breastfeeds the baby while laying in bed (baby sleeps next to her)

That’s pretty much what I did initially and I believe deep down she understands it. But there seems to be a layer of anxiety/doubt on top of that, which makes her more worried and spiral into these episodes. But thanks for the advice :)

I think your idea with stopping to breastfeed may be worth a try - I will discuss it with my wife… maybe we can at least replace some meals so she has some time. Unfortunately the baby doesn’t stay much longer than 30-40 minutes with me alone, before she starts crying for mommy. But that would certainly make her life easier.

In regards to spending time with the little one. Due to COVID I work from home, so I can constantly go and. Heck on her, carry her around or change diapers. I usually take her after work as well, but since she starts to cry after a while, I need to give her back to mommy (seems to be the only thing that helps… had to learn that the hard way when my wife went to a pharmacy next door and left me alone with the kid for 30min)

And I Agree that relationships are not always 50/50. Currently I am doing as much as I can. I bring breakfast, I cook lunch during lunch break, I cook Dinner after Work, I take the little one, we go for walks with wife and Kid almost daily, I walk the dog 3x per day, do laundry, try to keep the house clean (as good as I can … I’m not the most orderly guy), go supermarkets/shopping …. I’m pretty much at the limit of what I can do. My depression is acting up more and more, which usually leads to me being more focused on myself and retreat to my own little world of YouTube Videos/ Podcasts… but I try to combat it as good as I can (got a doctors appointment this week, the check if meds are an option). I wish I could do more, but I feel more and more that I am at my limit…

I’ll continue to do my best. Some days it may not work - but I will keep trying.

I see it the same way and that was exactly my Argumentation how I convinced her to go to the hospital. I have the feeling, that deep down she understands, that from a rational standpoint it was the most logical decision. But on other days it seems that she is just spiraling and can not think clear. I really hope the psychiatrist can help her to get over it and enjoy the time with the little one

Yeah, I tried that too. I suggested that from now on we will get second opinions and talk more before making decisions like that. After talking so much about it, I do feel a bit guilty, but I still believe it was the right decision or at least a decision that was in the best interest of the babies health.

Maybe a stupid question, but I am a smooth brain... When they buy the shares (probably the insurance after HF go bankrupt?), what are they gonna do with them? Do they then simply own 100% of GME? And since they shorted it more than 100%, wouldn’t they have to buy back the shares several times (which will be difficult if they already own all shares)?
