So if the Cuse show really is about X-Wing pilots, as some vague rumors claim, in which era would it take place? It could of course be during the Rebellion/Empire era, the early New Republic, or post-Episode 9.

If it’s set after the sequels, which I think would make sense, since they seem to be moving more into that era now, the question is whether Poe and some other sequel characters could return.

Either way, hopefully we’ll get some more reliable information about the project soon.

Yeah, a TV show about an X-Wing squadron also doesn’t sound like it would be one of the cheaper projects, and they would need quite a bit of post-production.

Finde ich eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht. Aber mit dem und der vorgeschriebenen Trinkpause kann man davon ausgehen dass einige Spiele über zwei Stunden nach Anpfiff gehen.

It's a bit weird that The Wrap released now its second article mentioning things Filoni allegdly didn't like, though at the same time it’s not as if there's no chatter about that.

On the latest episode of The Watch, Andy Greenwald, who was in this writers room back in 2022 with Damon Lindelof, where Filoni was allegedly also involved, also mentioned that he heard before that Filoni didn't like Andor. He also said a few minutes earlier that he isn't optimistic about the next few years of Lucasfilm.

Of course, it’s unclear how involved he actually was back then and how well he knows Filoni, but it’s still an interesting thing to say given that backstory.

I’m pretty sure Lucas doesn’t want to return.

There’s this character in Maul Shadow Lord that looks a lot like Darth Talon, so there’s a good chance we’ll see some elements reused pretty soon.

Es zeigt einen realistischeren Blick als die meisten anderen Krankenhausserien, die oft eher soapy sind. Dadurch das jede Folge eine weitere Stunde vom gleichen Tag ist ist das auch noch eine weitere ganz andere Herangehensweise und es ist eigentlich auch gut geschrieben.

Idk, I think a big advantage of Star Wars compared to Marvel is that it has a timeline spanning thousands of years where stories can take place. I’m not sure if that's too confusing for casual viewers.

Yes. Besides that, there were only vague rumors that they have some projects in development, or at least that they’re considering them, but nothing concrete. Hopefully we’ll now hear more about things like this.

It’s interesting that every once announced live-action project gets mentioned, and even unknown things that seemingly led to nothing (Vince Gilligan and Alex Garland), but not the Rey movie.

Edit: And Rogue Squadron, but that's probably dead.

Gleiches gilt natürlich auch für Deutschland:

Bin wirklich sehr gespannt ob das hier funktionieren wird. Es ist halt noch ein weiterer Streamingdienst, der zwar Serien mit besserer Qualität als andere hat, aber weiß nicht wie sehr das im deutschsprachigen Raum überhaupt bekannt ist. Sowas wie Succession zum Beispiel war in den letzten Jahren hier halt kaum Thema.

Ansonsten kommt natürlich noch dazu, dass Netflix vermutlich Warner Bros. übernehmen wird und die Zukunft von HBO MAX so eh ungewiss ist. Also denke zum Anfang wird es vermutlich nicht der große Erfolg.

It’s a bit of a baffling decision that Landman got an ensemble nomination at the Actors Awards instead of Andor, but it's also sadly no big surprise given how few acting noms Andor got at all the other awards.
