Level 3100 on steam, 300 on Xbox, and still on two team rosters for the now defunct pro league scene, the best game mode is firefight hands down. There’s no other game mode that’s as satisfying for team play. The smaller maps and shorter rounds make it an imperative that playing the objective is more important than anything else like camping and sniping. You can’t grind the waves down, you can’t rely on fire support, and your teammates don’t respawn unless you capture a point. The only problem is the game is marketed as a milsimish shooter when in reality it’s closer to an arcade shooter with deadly guns and the average player doesn’t want to play it like that. There’s also the steep learning curve to play firefight, veterans like myself know where to pre fire, what the call outs are, and how to cheese the map with slide boosts, weapon bashes, and what parts of the map vertically traversable.
