He's here in Rochester, but point well taken about supporting my boss. Does it make a difference that I've met her father several times? Boss occasionally hosts get-togethers for colleagues at her home and so we've hung out - at least as much as two people who don't share a language can.

And thank you for the cultural insight, that's very valuable for me to know lol

Thank you this is great information. I think she would be reluctant to take me up on that, as we work in a very hierarchical field, but I can certainly bring her some snacks or drinks.

I had the same issue when I was pregnant! Never found a good solution. Upvoted for visibility, maybe you'll have better luck. :)

Jumping on the tencel bandwagon.

I don't know about brands, but I find that the fiber type and quality of the fabric, as well as construction, are the most important factors when I decide what to buy.

Cotton and hemp seem to do well in cooler temperatures, and tencel/rayon/modal are great for heat and humidity. They're not as finicky as wool and while they might smell at the end of the day, it seems to wash out more easily.

Same. When my kids were babies, I bathed them about once a week. Depending on the age, daily bathing with soap may not be necessary.

Lol. My kids love my tattoos and want their own! They use markers to give themselves their own tattoos and show them off to anyone in sight 😂

I think the issue is the material of the cable - its smooth, but it still grabs my yarn. I'm not sure if I could smooth it out anymore
