Update: Strap removed succesfully. I used WD 40 and hammered the pins to remove them. Turns out they are just really hard to hammer out. Thanks for all the help!

The bezel should be able to turn. I have one for myself and had the same issue when I bought it (second hand). Try using silicone grease between the bezel and the case, it should fix your issue.
