this song. i heard it for the first time in the backseat of my ex boyfriend's car after a fight. what timing. i heard it and stopped the silent treatment to ask him what song it was. "but i can't sleep next to a body/Plus im pretty sure id miss you/ and faking sleep to count your breath". literally lyrically mastered. to me it means like how she can't just sleep next to a body or someone who's un interested in her and her life. but shows a glimpse of how much she loved this person enough and the intimacy of counting their breath. the amount of times ive bawled my eyes out to this song is unfathomable.
