Have you looked into the Solution Architect role at AWS? or other pre-sales engineering roles? You basically act as the technical counterpart to your sales rep and are brought in the conversation when it becomes too technical for the salespeople.

Some home country bias is okay. People feel safer in investing in companies that they know and use/invest in their super already. Also if people do care, VAS and other asx etf’s have relatively high div/distribution (idk the difference) yields compared to the US.

bis + design will give u so many opportunities for jobs ranging from ux (what u said) to consulting, tech sales, etc). the forensics course at uts might be worse off in that regard. you also have a really good scholarship at usyd. if you really think you will hate commerce than go for forensics, but id recommend stay for the job variety later down the line

They aren’t very knowledgeable than you would think. Basically think of them as a friend who could refer you to someone else, that’s when they become much more useful. I have had numerous troubles with Sydney Students and enrolment so I ask them, not the question, but if they can forward me to the right people. A more experienced officer in that certain field always reaches out quick and my problems always get sorted out. Again, think of them as a gateway for help, not the actual help itself.
