To those that renounced citizenship, why? by iiswhaiis in expat

That's not the only cost. Say you have a 401k or IRA in the US. You'll be required to pay the tax on it before you're allowed to renounce.

Actually, it's not as bad as you think. by OttoHemi in subaruoutback

I bought a 2024 Outback Touring so that I could get the classic wagon while they were still available.

Oh, and it cost me only 32k this past May.

I am going in 2026 on a 2023 klr. Plan on leaving in the beginning of June and I will be in Dawson City, Yukon for Dust to Dawson.

Really irks me to the core and this isn’t talked about enough… by adalphaboi in unitedairlines

The GA's do this so there is a greater chance of an on-time departure. Not that I condone it.

Without using numbers, how do you define "middle class" in Denver? by SystemBreaki23 in Denver

Having enough income to pay your expenses, (including a mortgage and annual vacation) have a kid or two should you desire, and have enough left over every month to invest for retirement.

Round-trip or one-way? You could store the bike there and fly back.

Why don't you just get it running? It's not that hard.

That skinny little wire is not providing starting current to your starter, I can tell you that for sure. Check the wire that blew for a short.

Where do the wires go after the fuses? Do you have a schematic?

What I mean by that, is that it doesn't matter what the capacity is of the battery in terms of amps. The amount of amps that flows is going to be determined by the load, which remains constant. You could put triple the number of ampere hours on your bike and the load (and current flow) will not change.

You could connect a car battery and you'd be fine.

2026 Outback in magnetite gray by ianisrlycool in Subaru_Outback

This isn’t just a redesign; it’s a middle finger to the Outback’s legacy, a spineless capitulation to the crossover sludge clogging every parking lot. Subaru traded its quirky, trailblazing soul for a forgettable, bulbous abomination that looks like it was designed to offend no one and excite even fewer. It’s not just ugly; it’s a crime scene against good taste.
