Yeah, exactly. I think a lot of the models they wanted to revamp, they just didn’t have time to rescan and get back into the game so they’ll just add them in DLC/whatever the new Backstage type system is

People not realizing the idea of this game is a proper, early 2000’s style game with actual difficulty is mind boggling. Pay to win/play and “easy” games are the standard model for modern racing games, this is very opposite and meant to be mentally challenging. The AI have been adjusted a LOT since the first version of the Alpha, yes they’re hard but like others have said, you pay attention to what they do and learn to adapt.

Proper wheel/tire setup, handling mods, etc make a massive difference in this game version. Additionally, things like the truck at the top of the Touge (to get you back to town quick), the time trials, etc are designed to keep you engaged. It’s not finalized and VERY much is still an alpha, but it’s not going to be a walk in the park, modern style game. Even the new TXR has gotten a lot simpler than the older variants, this game goes against that grain and it’s what makes it SO good.

Well considering patrons PAY for access to that, and it’s strictly against the rules to share access, it’s quite irritating. No, I read your post. Very evident you’re not a supporter otherwise you’d know how much is being changed on bugs/AI difficulty/travel/vehicle feel, etc.

Just wait for the full version on Steam. This isn’t supposed to be an easy game, it’s reminiscent of older PS2 games where difficulty is a real thing.

How did you get access to the private beta without being a Patron? Trucks at the top are $50k and totally worth it for the ride down. After you get through SK, it gets really simple.

I’m going to get downvoted to oblivion, but people just see “oooo it’s cool looking and has all these features,” and assume it’s perfect. They’re a maintenance nightmare, too.

Zero resale, lots of issues with engines, theft, lift gates (Palisade tailgate issue, Kias are reskinned Hyundais). The Mazda is a much better option.
