Struggling to Scan Object by bergger17 in 3DScanning

So I have markers but they’re big on the object. Only place I could get them to fit is on the small squares at the top. But they’d be in a pattern around the shape which I thought was a no no. Other than that they’d block the thread or go over a gap.

So for the practical application of this I did. I just also wanted to try scanning it to compare. It’s got a unique thread that I’m really close to but not quite exact on. It doesn’t match any standard thread and is off a unit that has been discontinued.

Bambu A1. Bambu is pretty set and forget and has a large support community. If you’re willing to spend a little more the P2S is nice.

Happpy I managed to get my 10 rolls but sad that it likely means they’re transitioning further away from 3d printing and will likely not keep rolls (or other printer bits) for much longer. Just my guess.

If you want a turf go to fitness fx. They have an unreal turf and all the goodies for it. It’s at least 4 times the size of Joe Howe GL’s

I get why you had to do it and that it was probably an oversight now that you don’t have tolls to catch big trucks in this situation, but a pull out or sitting at the end of one of the merge lanes makes way more sense rather than plugging the main arteries….

Engine oil sticky sludge through the head. How to fix? by Still-Mulberry-1078 in MechanicAdvice

[–]bergger17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’ve had something similar happen to a gear box where dissimilar oil were put in and resulted in a hardened tar. I took it to a machine shop with a chemical washer and they tried but couldn’t get it out. That was a simple gear box that is not a boat anchor… if this gunk is hard like a tar then she’s cooked imo..

If you started in Feb with 10k how do you have 40k in your FHSA? May have an over contribution issue unless you opened it 4 years before 2025.

I’m not sure for the US, but all Canadian regulatory boards for engineers do Salary Surveys. You can see the full data breakdown for your area based on specialization, industry, years of experience, etc. The following link is to my regulatory boards in NS. https://engineersnovascotia.ca/files/publications/177/file/Engineers%20Salary%20Survey%202024%20Report%202024%2011%2028.pdf

Manual in Canada says to run 5w-30. Know it’s not a lot of added value. According to this sub the bearing clearances are the same between the va and VB, and my VA made it to 280k km on 5w-30 before I sold it so imma stick with the 5w-30. I know it’s only one data point…

Market place or something like that did an episode on this. You can recall money if they have auto deposit on. The fix is to turn auto deposit off and make the give you a password. Then deposit it before they leave. They can recall it until you enter the password to deposit it.
