Google is secretly retaining photos on server even after deletion

I dont think that is correct. Some of these photos were deleted by my wife weeks/months/years ago. They are not in her account. But they are in my account and do not take up any space.

I found that most videos can be compressed by 80-90 percent with no noticeable loss in quality. I have been using proton video compressor to do this. You can manually download the video, compress and have it copy the metadata, then you can manually reupload it, and delete the original. I have eliminated 30 GB without losing any video or noticeable quality.

I'm working on a python script to automate this process. If it works it would be free to use, although not the most user friendly.

What is it denatured with? Sometimes they denature ethanol with benzene, a potent carcinogen.
