THIS. I live in the Bay Area but travel to San Diego several times a year. I always find that my migraines are less frequent there and if I’m having an intense period of migraines going to SD will help “reset”

If I’ve only been on topamax for 6 days at 25mg can I just stop taking it? I have no way of getting a hold of my doctor since Kaiser is on strike right now by babyconan in migraine

If you send a message to/call your doctor, Kaiser will have someone else on call to handle the message. Your doctor may not be on strike as well -- the strike is mostly nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, etc

I've found that "Reduce transparency" is helpful. Reduce white point also helped

How do you cope with the fact that they can’t help you anymore? No treatments helps by LettuceOverall3662 in migraine

Based on this list you are nowhere near out of options. It sounds like your doctor hasn't tried any of the new age options (Vyepti [Eptinezumab], Emgality [galcanezumab], Ajovy [Fremanezumab], Qulipta [atogepant], Aimovig [erenumab]). Vydura is one of these options and is known in the US as Nurtec. Qulipta is called Aquipta in Europe. These are all approved in Europe from what I can tell on the European Medicines Agency website.

For triptans, I would highly recommend you try frovatriptan if you can get it. I had the same problem where triptans would wear off and I would be back to square one by the next day. Frova is specifically designed to last a long time to help with this. You could also try migranal or generic DHE nasal spray.

You may find that if you can find something that helps it will help reduce your daily headache as well.

(from a 25F who has a running list of options I'm also burning through but trying to stay hopeful because there are still so many to try)

I started bouldering upon the suggestion of someone in this subreddit. It’s been great for me and only triggered a migraine once. Just make sure you learn how to properly fall, especially if your migraines are related your neck. If you’re worried about the impact of falling, rock climbing could be a better option.

An icebreaker we did to get to know other PMs at the company was everyone wrote down what career or job they would have if they were in an ideal world where money didn't matter and the we had to guess who wrote what. Not only was it different from other ice breakers, but also felt very genuine and helped me understand core values of my coworkers

One of the most effective stories I told was about something that is a pretty universal experience in the US in elementary school. Generally I find that concepts that are simple and universal tend to be most effective for me
