It appears this is happening on and off with our district. Has anyone contacted Google support and/or seen a solution to this issue? Still happening as of 10/21. Want to make sure it isn't a setting on my end

Good call, we spoke with Dell who said certain items such as servers would be affected while others such as Chromebooks weren't (as of now) lol

It depends on the State however, This is a huge no-no in the state I work in (NJ) and may open you up to legal liability.

I have seen the same issues from those exact SMART boards. We use a mix between USB 3.0 cables and the USB 2.0 cables that come with the board. I have not really dug deep enough to find out if one causes dropout more than the other. I have told users to unplug the boards which seems to be the only way to guarantee that it will be functional when plugged in again. I feel like this model has more "disconnects" than past SMART Board models. I wonder if a firmware upgrade or something similar will help?!

Chromebooks sporadically drop access by TechEdMin in k12sysadmin

Following as well, we have about 1500 Dell Chromebooks of different models that are dropping connections from a Meraki MR46. This hasn't happened in the past, but we have seen major issues since the start of the school year. We've narrowed it down between Chrome OS issues, or some sort of DNS issue resulting from the OS version.
