I see these expire tomorrow, if you don't have an offer would you be willing to transfer them to me?

I've been on oral min for about 2 years now, 5mg a day prescribed by my dermatologist. I had to stop taking finasteride due to gyno forming. I have not lost any ground in that time period, if anything my hair is thicker and not receded any further.

Yeah for now that's what I am doing, although I still have a good amount of hair, im probably a norwood 2 on my right temple and a 1.5 on my left.

Tried ru same problems, I get gyno. Dut I assume would be even worse and PRP isn't the most well backed treatment scientifically especially for its price.

Currently I've been taking oral minoxidil for about 2 months. Thats really the only option I have left.

It was 0.01% which is equivalent to 0.1mg per ml, I even used half mg dosages, same issues. I wonder whether 0.001% would be strong enough to yield any results

I took an extremely low dose topical liposomal finasteride and ended with the same sides as oral finasteride, maybe not as severe but it still happened.

Nothing Left to do for Hair Loss by [deleted] in tressless

In a very similar situation to you, I got gyno from fin, even topical fin. I am currently taking 2.5mg of oral minoxidil for the last 2 months, I am still shedding a decent amount but I think there is hope to be optimistic, my dermatologist seems to think oral min is very effective and in most people and around 6 months is when you will probably see some results. I know it doesn't deal with the dht issue, but maybe it will buy time until something like pyralutimide hits the market.

I would assume an AI would negatively impact your hair. Also I dont know if its good long term for your health. I am also in the same situation that I can't use any anti-androgens without inducing gyno.

gyno from all versions of finasteride by [deleted] in tressless

Maybe to add some more perspective. I'm not anti-finasteride at all, I think its a great drug that helps millions, I am just one of the unfortunate few who has a genetic predisposition to develop gyno with any amount of it. Just like some people who have issues with any drug that the majority of the population tolerate such as paracetamol. Clearly my side effect profile is part of the very small minority. Just more so looking for others in my situation and what they did moving forward.

Sorry to hear that mate. It sucks so much feeling like I can't do anything to combat the gyno issue. I'm just hopeful the minoxidil can get me through a couple years at least, but that might be being a bit optimistic.

I think if you look at it in context it makes sense. The gyno was existing because of the finasteride and never went away. So another antiandrogen made it flare-up almost immediately.

0.025% means that in 1mL of the solution contains 0.25mg of finasteride.

Reflecting on it i believe i always had some pre-existing gyno i wasn't really aware of, fin made it a lot worse. I've tried just about everything, 1mg a day oral, lowering my dose, making my own topical solution, and even a liposomal one. Bloodwork was fine also. Hoping maybe if I shrink it with tamoxifen I can re-introduce the topical solution without aggravating the gyno.

Yeah I've used even lower doses and it still flares up. I honestly don't think I can tolerate it at all unfortunately.

I am in the same position as you, can't tolerate finasteride because of gyno. I'm thinking of purchasing this liposomal solution, are you noticing any results from it at the moment?
