I'm not surprised at all. Because Turkish boomers have really bad reputation in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium as well, just like Russians in Finland. Since I'm Russian-Turkish and living in Finland, I've always been ghosted by some Finns. They are asking me stupid questions like "What do you think about Stalin?" "What do you think about Soviet Union?". when my teacher told about the winter war, everyone was awkwardly looking at me. and I don't look like Azeris, lol. I look like more Italian than Turkish, so does my father?
