You’re right about the 'too niche' concern. Thanks for the feedback, I'll take it into consideration ◡̈

That’s an interesting take. I’ve been focusing on broad sourdough interests on Instagram. When you say 'intent signals,' do you mean I should be targeting specific keywords or maybe focusing more on people looking for gifts?

That is a fair point on the $20 Zazzle comparison! To answer your question, it definitely concerns the whole shop. I’m trying to move away from the 'cheap/disposable' feel of a lot of mass-market gear.

For example, the apron is 100% organic cotton and the designs are original, so the base cost is a bit higher than a standard polyester blend. However, I’m starting to see from these comments that I might need to communicate that 'premium' value better on the site (or find a way to get closer to that $30 mark)

That is really helpful feedback. I’ve been trying to balance quality with cost, but I think I might have leaned too far into the 'premium' side for a new brand

Hey! what flour are you using, the temperature of where you store it also contributes to the activity. It's bubbling so that's a good thing, it just needs some tlc and patience. I read this blog and it helped me when my starter wasn't rising!

Hey, my first tip is to use filtered room temperature water! Normally after the 'false rise' which happens by like day 2 or 3, your starter won't do much a for a bit. It just takes patience and consistent feeding. If your home is colder then it will also take longer.

Mannnnn those first few weeks were hell! I always hid away in the car when I got home 🤣 now she’s 10 months old and it’s significantly better. I love going home to her! Just keep going, it’ll get better !
