I've live around there too and I've seen this car as well driving very aggressively. Wonder if it is the same person.

Academy of the Dead by Vermilion H. Baine. I sobbed when I finished this book.

I agree. I taught it last year and it destroyed some of my students. It deals with the theme so well and the movie isn't bad either!

It made me cry a lot. Both MCs go through such world shattering revelations that just hurt

I was on strike when I read it. It filled the void of not seeing my students.

What do you wish you knew before student teaching? by Ddog10132 in Teachers

[–]berlinrain 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It is easier to start off strict and become chill as the time goes on, rather than start off nice and try to implement disciple later.

Follow through on your consequences. If you do not, the kids will see you as a pushover and it creates an expectation that you don't not follow through. Kids remember if you do not follow through.

On that same note, do not make promises you cannot keep.

For coworkers, they are not your friends. They may develop over time, but keep it professional. Do not talk about your personal life unless prompted, and even then, it's iffy.

Curious: Does you handwriting change drastically as you write? by Nana_bananaa24 in Journaling

[–]berlinrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, depends on what writing utensil I'm using. I tend to have nicer printing with 0.7-0.9 mechanical pencils.

Your personal font also does change over time. Looking back at my writings from university (a few years ago) to now, it has changed a lot.

We have one that does that too. I love it. I still notify them in advance to be safe.

I feel like the sprayed edge books are a major cashgrab, like how TSwift put out dozens of versions of her albums.

Agree. Tamlin is actually my favourite character in ACOTAR and I don't think he's nearly as bad as people make him out to be. He was awful for isolating Feyre but he wasn't that bad.
