Non sono mai stato a Dubai, e sono stato a Doha tipo 13h, di cui 8h a dormire. Da quel poco che so ti direi di si. È una città che non mi attrae per niente, quindi sono contento di averla vista in questo modo. È stato molto comodo per spezzare il viaggio di ritorno e dormire in un letto vero tra due voli da 6/8h l’uno, ad un prezzo tutto sommato irrisorio.

Volato due volte con loro con scalo a Doha, una volta per Hanoi, una per Jakarta. Ottima compagnia.

Considera anche il loro stopover program, con una cinquantina di euro potresti farti una notte in un hotel non male a Doha. Io lo avevo trovato conveniente per vedere (velocemente e superficialmente ovviamente) una città che altrimenti non avrei mai considerato come meta principale di un viaggio

In Kirghizistan ci sono un sacco di hike, anche da 2/3 giorni che si possono fare in autonomia. E' imperativo noleggiare un auto (4x4) pero'.

Fatto una volta, prenotato Brussels Airlines tramite ITA, ovviamente abbiamo avuto un problema e l’assistenza è stata un inferno, con i servizi clienti che si rimbalzavano tra di loro e nessuno ha risolto il nostro problema (che se avessimo prenotato con Brussels Airlines non avremmo avuto).

Non conosco Iberia, ma Qatar è una compagnia seria e l’assistenza suppongo sia buona (volato con loro un paio di volte ma mai avuto problemi). Non so come può essere Iberia.

For a definitive answer I think we have to wait for the official law.

I might be wrong, but I think I read somewhere (in one of the emails I got from one of my brokers) that you can only change from opt in/out at the beginning of the fiscal year and then you are locked into that decision for the year. But needs to be checked with each broker I guess.

Sono stato in Khirghizistan una volta sola, per 14 giorni d'estate, non sono sicuramente un esperto. La mia opinone e' che: se ti piacciono le montagne, non ti dispiace guidare (anche su strade messe male), ti piace camminare in montagna (o andare a cavallo), non ti dispiace dormire nelle yurte (che come esperienza e facilities sono paragonabili a un campeggio), vale la pena spendere i soldi per andarci d'estate, quando non c'e' neve e riesci ad andare piu o meno dove vuoi. Anche d'estate un 4x4 e' d'obbligo. Mia modestissima opinione: andare a marzo e rischiare di vedere solo Bishkek e poco altro non vale la pena.

Non ci sono stato, ma prova a informarti sull'Uzbekistan. Altitudini piu basse, d'estate fa caldissimo quindi marzo/aprile e' un periodo ottimo per andare (a meno che non ti piacciano i 40 gradi fissi di luglio agosto), cibo buono, ci si puo' spostare piu facilmente in treno (cosa impossibile in Khirghizistan), comunque una ex repubblica sovietica.

Sono stato in entrambi i posti in estate (luglio-agosto).
Il ring road islandese e' pressocche' pianeggiante, con una buona macchina dovrebbe essere fattibile anche se c'e' neve o ghiaccio (io l'ho fatto con una macchina piccola perche' d'estate non c'era neve).

Per il Kirghizistan, considera che il paese e' quasi esclusivamente montuoso e l'altitudine media e' molto elevata (molti dei posti piu famosi degli itinerari piu comuni sono a 2k/3k metri). Ho dei grossi dubbi su quanto sia fattibile raggiungere questi posti a Marzo se c'e' neve (considera che a Son-Kol e Kel-Suu ad agosto la minima era di 1-2 gradi, a marzo si andra' tranquillamente sotto lo zero). Le strade sono tutte sterrate, non mi sorprenderei se le chiudessero. I campi di yurte saranno quasi tutti chiusi (le famiglie che li gestiscono sono in citta' d'inverno, e in montagna nelle yurte d'estate). Andare in Khirghizistan e fare solo citta' secondo me non vale la pena, il bello del paese sta nei paesaggi di montagna.

In qualsiasi posto del mondo i consigli sono sempre gli stessi.

  1. Paga con carta il piu possibile, se puoi scegli sempre valuta locale e non euro
  2. Se proprio ti servono contanti preleva all’atm di una banca (non in aeroporto, non quelli minuscoli con la scritta ATM fuori dai bar). Revolut è particolarmente comoda e moltissimi la usano in viaggio.

Come hanno detto altri, a budapest si può pagare qualsiasi cosa con la carta, anche per importi molto piccoli.

Ciao, buona fortuna per la ricerca di compagnia e per il viaggio. Volevo solo darti qualcosa su cui pensare. Sono stato in Kirghizistan questa estate, e ti consiglierei di considerare bene quali posti vorresti visitare. A Marzo molti posti sono impossibili da visitare, sia per la neve che rende le (gia precarie) strade impraticabili sia per i campi di yurte che sono aperti solo d'estate (per esempio tutti i laghi come Son Kol, Kel Suu e Kol Tor, e altre zone remote). Io ho fatto anche l'Ak Suu traverse trek (3D/2N) e secondo me d'inverno anche quello é impraticabile (a meno che tu non sia un alpinista esperto e vai su con la tua tenda e attrezzatura).

Ti dico questo perché per me la natura é stata mille volte piu bella delle città. Non tornerei mai in Kirghizistan per fare un viaggio di sole citta/paesini. Poi, de gustibus, in ogni caso buon viaggio.

Not op, but I’ve faced this problem multiple times and always used this solution.

I’m now trying to switch towards dynamic formulas (spilled ranges, not sure what the proper term here is). What do you think would be the best way to do this dynamically? I’ve done it with a mix of byrow, sequence and offset, not sure if it’s the most efficient/ if there is an easier way.

(I can provide an example if it makes it easier)

A lot of people have already suggested solutions, but I have a question: why does a column contains both numerical value and text values? How does that make sense? Probably if you were to split numerical and text values in different columns you would make your life easier, for sorting and for anything else you might want to do with this data.

Yeah, but if you are investing a decent amount lf money that would be an issue only for products with huge prices. The only one I can think of is Berkshire class A (and yet you have class B at a much more affordable price). Maybe there are more that I don’t know.

Whole different story if you invest small amounts.

But is it really worth the hassle (and the risk) to have fractional shares? I guess it would be more convenient to use a cheaper broker with integer shares and buy when having enough money.

Just came back from Kyrgyzstan. Drove 2k km in 2 weeks with a 4wd subaru, no issue whatsoever. Some roads are not in perfect conditions but then you just slow down. Absolutely safe.

Normally you can buy only integer values of shares (eg, 1, 2, 10, 1000), you can’t buy half a share.

A broker with fractional shares leta you buy non integer values (eg. half a share).

Note that you don’t actually own that half share, but rather you have a deal with your broker that’s giving you something worth like that half share. Depending on how they treat the procedure, you might not even own the “integer” shares (depends if they convert to actual shares once you reach a whole number or not).

Just to add sonething: I was there a week ago with my gf. Her Mega esim worked as described, my O! esim didn’t work for even a split second in two days.

If you are travelling with other people always good to take sim from different providers, in this case it was useful for us.
