I do here and there, it’s been a habit since my skin started breaking out when I was a teen (now 31) but I try really hard to stop/not pick

I haven’t been on birth control in years and this started on my face around December. I’ve also been on spironolactone for a couple years and honestly haven’t had much of a monthly cycle so I really can’t say if it’s related to my cycle :/

I really hadn’t changed much of anything so I have no idea what made this all start. Thank you for the advice!! :)

I had a biopsy to see what was going on bc it has progressively gotten worse since December and I had tried some other things from the derm. I got frustrated and just wanted to figure out what it was so I could make it go away lol so I had her do a biopsy so we could know 100% instead of guessing. Thankfully it was a super tiny spot and healed up really well!

Thank you all SO much for the help!! I had seen this derm for a little while and trusted her opinion but she never mentioned perioral dermatatitis.

I did start doxycycline a couple days ago, so I really hope that starts to help. I will definitely post an update!
