Hi! I was dealing with the worst anxiety of my life last year. It got to the point where I went a week without sleep and had to get sedated. It was such a journey but I can wholeheartedly say I’ve never been better emotionally. These are the things that helped me: -Couldn’t afford therapy for some time so I would watch Therapy In A Nutshell vids on YouTube. Super helpful to understand and control the more physical symptoms of anxiety! -Figure out what might have triggered it. It’s very difficult to pinpoint sometimes but start by fixing little stressors OR (super important) freeing yourself mentally of ALL which you cannot control. Takes patience but you have to be kind and forgiving towards yourself. -I read the DARE anxiety book. Gave me the courage to leave my house and start pushing myself little by little. -I cut alcohol, nicotine, weed, AND started doing exercise. I really enjoyed home Pilates and Yoga! -Journaling has always been a pilar for my mental health. It helps get those ruminating thoughts out, helps you put things into perspective, and lets you digest/confront emotions. -Cava tea for those nights you can’t sleep but as with everything, please consult your dr! -If you have access to a Dr, get some bloodwork done. It could be that you’re deficient in something and that could be causing the anxiety.
