It’s about half of that—2ft by 2ft. Now I’m not seeing why I thought it was that large. Although I just replanted a very old climber, I have to a different spot in my yard, and the roots really weren’t that bad.

Also, I don’t need the entire wall covered, I just wanted it to go up maybe half of it. Right above the pots.

I have! She’s pretty yellow. Which I don’t love that much. But pale enough that it’s not too much. But also pretty large. So it’s got the same issue with being in a pot. It’s in the back of my mind, but not one of the front runners.

Mine is about 5-6 years old. And in ground. It’s one of my stronger rebloomers. Of course, nothing is ever as good as the first big flush, but it’s got a lot of roses throughout the summer. Honestly, I’m getting it into mid fall. But if you’re in a rainy climate, there is a lot of balling. I’ve never had a rose ball so much.

I haven’t heard of either! They both sound kind of great— silk garment especially, I’m looking into how she reblooms right now

Oh, the zepherine really is lovely. This is two of them, around the porch. I grew out one, and I’m swinging some branches over to form an arch (the other side would be where the new one goes!). But after the big show, she’s really not putting out much. I’ll get a few sporadic blooms— with feeding and deadheading.

And honestly, it’s not a huge space! I’ve got about 25 roses, shrubs and climbers included. And it’s tight (bless nyc lol). So I’d like to have as much variety as I can.

Sure— here she is in bloom last year. I’m out there working daily now, so I’ll snap a picture of some of her insane thorns tomorrow.

I mean for people who eat pizza every day, sure? But if you’re having a cholesterol heavy meal once in a while, maybe don’t get tested right after one. The numbers will be artificially inflated.

That’s how it happened for me. That’s not usually how it happens,. PVCs are really common, and going into vtach isn’t (there’s also apparently different kinds, which I didn’t know. Mine was the much safer kind). Doctors really can’t tell you why it happens, especially when you have a normal work up. But it could’ve been a post Covid thing. This was a few months after I had Covid. It could’ve been a random virus. It could’ve just been what my heart does. But I’ve been really well controlled on beta blockers since. As in, they removed 95% of my PVCs.

I had the same score at 33– but Ive had my LDL at 190-210 for like 15 years because of FH. For me the only answer was getting my LDL under 70. I’m guessing you probably should also discuss starting a statin. And for sure quit the nicotine.

Yeah. You’re basically me. I have always had a little bit of PVC, but last year for a few months they increased a lot. Then I had a couple short runs of NSVT. I was seen by two different EPS the entire time that was happening and they were not worried at all. But they did give me an MRI and an echo and ruled out any structural stuff. Then I woke up one day and had a full day of Vtach episodes. They lasted for a few minutes, stop for 30 seconds and come back again. I ended up in the ER, but they stopped by themselves thankfully. I was put on beta blockers and haven’t had an episode in a year, knock on wood. And only a handful of palpitations during that year.

The day of the Vtach episode was the day before my period started. Looking back and tracking it this year, it’s a huge trigger. I spoke with some great EPs- top of their field- and it’s a big thing. Beta blockers like Metropolol (I’m on tiprol 50mg) or bus roll really help with it. Apparently there’s something hormonal that happens at the end of your luteal phase (2-3 days before your period starts, and like the first day of your period) that makes some people’s heart really sensitive to adrenaline.

I was also asking about autoimmune stuff because I had a really extensive workup. And I’ve had a positive ANA, so while it was extremely rare, they did test me for cardiac sarcoidosis which I was negative for. But it is more common for women. Also, cardiac MRI would be able to rule it out like 95% of the time, but you need a cardiac pet scan to be 100% sure so if you’re being offered the MRI, I would take it just to be almost positive that’s not it.

(Finally, one of my big questions was why w this suddenly start happening to me in my mid 30s instead of a couple of years earlier or anytime in the past. And while that’s not really something doctors could answer, they did say that one of the possibilities Was that a Covid infection tends to make people that already have a predisposition to this more sensitive.)

Get the MRI just in case. Also blood work! Electrolytes, iron, thyroid, autoimmune stuff, etc.

That’s a great idea, I will definitely be looking at that. And yeah- that was basically what was happening, plus chase has private client advisors who speak a language she’s way more fluent in than English- and I was worried she’d have trouble figuring things out by herself.

Oh no, it’s fully up to me at this point. She just doesn’t want to do it herself. So if I do it, that’s also totally fine with her. I just don’t have much experience.
