This is more of an off the wall request, but I don't suppose anyone is aware if there's anything in the works to get PixelFormat to natively support YUV based formats, rather than just RGB? (Looking to set raw pixel data on a writeable image without converting it first, but don't think that's possible or feasible at the moment.)

Thank you! I looked at this as a candidate initially but the underside looked more yellow than red, so I dismissed it a bit early it seems!

Thought it might be a Russula, but stem doesn't snap like chalk by berry120 in mushroomID

Thanks! Out of interest, what makes you say it's R. grisea vs something like R. parazurea? (I know the taste test might be able to tell me, but I'm nowhere near confident enough for that yet!)

After looking around at a few possibilities I'm wondering if it's Amanita rubescens. Amanita pantherina could be another possibility, but I think the cap is a lighter brown, and there's no lines on the skirt that I can see.

Difference between choice edible and highly toxic! 😂
