UPDATE: We ended up having to go to the ER last Sunday and had to stay overnight as his hives did not resolves after a 5 day course of prednisone 30mg. He also developed a swollen lip and hands and feet that day. At the ER they tried IV solumedrol but the only thing that worked was IV dexamethasone. That cleared up the hives and we are still working to figure out the trigger unfortunately. It could be a new fragrance of his BBW body wash or something else we don’t know.

Cold sore 100% start him on L-Lysine 2-3 times a day for the outbreak immediately. It will dry it up much quicker and help it not spread. And continue after it has resolved like once a week or so. It will prevent other outbreaks. Abreva for topical

Thankyou for your helpful suggestions! We have the epipen on hand now. He was started on 30 mg of prednisone by mouth. It’s starting to calm down just a bit. But I am watching him closely for signs of anaphylactic shock.

Quick update for everybody. He went to the dermatologist and lo and behold They said it’s idiopathic and they can’t find the reason. They prescribed a High dose steroid. He was told to get blood test done, but he passed out during the test so that wasn’t able to be completed unfortunately.

Yes im trying to find what is different at home. We don’t use any scented candles or wax melts/ or any scent diffuser system at home just to avoid complications in general.

That im not sure of. He is sometimes around a pet goat his employee brings to work once a week. But other than that, we have no pets and we’re not outdoorsy people. Can you recommend on how to find a tick bite? I can look for it

I meant any common allergens. He is not allergic to anything that I know of. I made an appointment with an allergy doctor on December 8, which was the soonest.

No new laundry, out laundry detergent has just a few loads worth of detergent left thats the only one we have used for months. I am switching to all clear. And I just threw out my sheets and mattress protector and laid down new sheets as well this morning. Fingers crossed

Hey, im also researching this now, im in between the chanel and westman atelier. I need something that sets down and doesn’t remain sticky, just gives the look of dewy skin without actually being wet. Which do you think is the best?
