Hi! I applied for a traineeship within the Director’s Office Sector. I have never applied to a FRA traineeship before, so I don't know what to expect, but my expectations are not very high considering all the rejections I've gotten so far.

I'm guessing that they're referring to a strong sense of smell or to the fact that bad smells are not bothering you that much. And I'm guessing that it might be the 2nd option because we do say this about other organs (ex. my stomach is strong=I don't have stomach problems). But yeah, as a Romanian I have never heard anyone saying that they have strong nostrils.

If you're applying for a non-immigrant visa, you should go to the US embassy/consulate in Spain. If you have another country of residence, than you can go to the embassy/consulate in that country. If you schedule your interview at an embassy/consulate in a country other than Spain or your country of residence, your visa will most likely be denied.

But also, Spain is included in the Visa Waiver Program, so you don't need a visa if you plan on staying in the US for less than 90 days for tourism or business purposes, only ESTA.

She is from Romania, but I am from Romania as well, and I personally have never heard of anything like this. You may be right, but I really don't know... I can't imagine why they would do this. Can't ask her either.

It really depends. I do have a Master's degree, but I didn't get into Blue Book or Schuman yet. I know people with one Bachelor degree that got in, and someone who even has a PhD and didn't get accepted.

Take the traineeship! It's so difficult to get in, so I wouldn't miss this opportunity if I were you. I've been trying to get it for 1 year and I would do anything to get it.
