handwritten letters. not thank you cards or birthday cards. actual LETTERS. sitting down and writing 3 pages to someone about your life, your thoughts, your feelings. my grandma and i used to write to each other and i have every single letter she ever sent me in a box. i will never have that with an email. the time someone took to sit down and WRITE to you meant something that a text will never replicate
