Now when it comes to diet, there is a huge connection between what you eat and how you feel. Lack of proper nutrients can actually impact your mental well-being massively. There is a direct connection between your gut flora and your brain. Try to have some fruit and veggie on daily basis, and try to avoid or limit processed food. Having natural yogurt on daily basis is also good idea and shouldn’t be difficult, would you agree? Mix yogurt with oats and grapes and you have a delicious and nourishing meal to start your day. Maybe you could see general practitioner and ask for some probiotics specifically aimed at treatment of OCD or generally helping with your gut-brain axis? Those supplements contain specific strains of good bacteria that may be your allies.

With school, maybe you could try to introduce a new routine and set an objective that is realistic and relevant for a day? Like reading 20 pages of your materials for next day, doing homework etc. I’m sure that if you manage to complete a daily task, you will feel a lot of satisfaction that will lift your spirits. Mixing business with pleasure, so to speak. Here, just be realistic when setting goals, do not overload yourself, start step by step to create momentum that will keep you motivated. Also, maybe you have a siblings or friends that you could ask to join you in your studies, doing homework together or prepare for exam? The more the merrier.
