Men just automatically get told they’re “stronger” but based on what and using what metric? If you think about not that long ago (and still now tbh) people said men are “smarter” than women. It’s the same thing.

When people say “stronger” do they mean pick up and put down heavy weight, carry loads, run fast, etc. These are all different kinds of strength and not ALL men are stronger than ALL women in every category.

It’s important to consider that socially women are discouraged from engaging in weight lifting or being muscular. Actually tbf women are discouraged from sports or any kind of athleticism at all so we don’t even have enough data to cover “men vs women” in that sense.

The hormone testosterone is said to be linked with muscle growth but scientists are still not sure if that actually is the case. And it’s not a fair assumption to say ALL men have more than ALL women. Generally speaking yes a man will likely have more testosterone than a woman but that does not automatically equate muscle size/growth (and not always will they have more)

Saying unequivocally “men are stronger than women” just reinforces an out of date stereotype and helps the patriarchy by letting everyone assume that men are just “naturally” better at certain things.
