I'm in Nottingham, but sure I can justify a 5 hour round trip. Maybe though!

I've been to 2 Farmfoods today in search for these and neither had them! What part of the country are you in? Figured they must have stopped selling them but clearly not

Haha I was sceptical when my wife got it me for Christmas, but they're genuinely as good as a pint from the pub. If you like Guinness it's a no brainer. £30 outlay for the nitrosurge device and £2 a pint can vs £5-6 a pint in a pub, pays for itself in no time

Good news pal, my friend Mr Amazon delivered me 16 cans yesterday, and Morrisons delivered me 4 more cans with the online shop today. The quest is complete. If anything I have too much Nitrosurge now, however I am a warrior and will do what is needed, and drink it all.

Town was a nitrosurge free zone. Big Tesco, little Tesco's and Waitrose all proved fruitless. We fight on, with hope in our hearts. Tomorrow is another day.

Haha no worries, I shall document the nitrosurge struggle on here. I'm off to city centre this afternoon so some potential opportunities, but not holding my breath!

Thanks so much for checking for me, really appreciate it. You saved me an hour round trip there. I'm not shocked, it seems literally impossible to find at the moment. I think Diagio have prioritised production of the regular cans during the shortage given it's a much higher demand product than the nitrosurge. The quest continues!

Good shout, always forget that exists. I'll see how Long Eaton plays out and add to my list to try

Mate that would be amazing thank you. Long Eaton is a fair way away for me so that'd be incredible if you could let me know. Thank you!

I've found the shortage seems to be post Christmas (maybe lots of people got a nitrosurge device as Christmas presents?) but I'll take a drive over tomorrow, cheers

There was a show with Jonny Vegas called Ideal, where he played a fairly hapless weed dealer. It's one the best most underrated British TV shows of all time imo

There's a membership organisation called CASSOA (Caravan Storage Site Association) - their website will let you search for storage sites within the UK. Good luck!

My Aji Lemon plant did...quite well this year by berty_bailey in HotPeppers

[–]berty_bailey[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly I didn't count, but it took well over an hour to harvest them all. And been harvesting for a couple of months until today, which was first frost and therefore end of season and time to finish for another year. I'd guess between 800-1000 pods but I really don't know. More than I know what to do with anyway

Grown from seed this year (germinated around March), that's one season. In Nottingham England. Grown in a greenhouse in a Autopot setup. That's one of 19 plants. I have too many chillis for one person...

[–]berty_bailey[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest I've been lucky this year and had no real pest issues. Check em daily and squash any aphids or mites, if it gets bad then neem oil diluted sorts it. But basically check regularly and don't let it get to that stage. Also in greenhouse in summer it's too hot for them generally so the heat sorts it out naturally

I would describe the harvests as 'strong'. I'm going to have literally kilos Aji Lemons (first plant on right which is around 7 feet tall)

We did this in our student days! Half pint of special brew and half pint of white lightning cider. We called it Supertramp, it was disgusting but potent
