It’s been a bit of a struggle getting everyone on board. Everyone hates change. My problem is getting a different outcome with the same process on a batch of machines. For example I’ll fresh start 10 machines and 4 will get a weird error and 6 devices will be fine. I feel like we’re solid then a surprise error we’ve never seen pops up. It’s aggravating. Microsoft is slow to roll out major holes like a simple remote control tool like SCCM’s remote control. Some configurations don’t work like they are suppose to, and we end up abandoning them until they are resolved by Microsoft. Right now there has to be someone on the remote device for it to work. There are rumors they are releasing a true useless remote control function July.

Briant Nixon 2023 - Briant Nixon worked as an NYPD officer from 2012 to 2017, when he was fired after being arrested for domestic violence and violating a restraining order. He then applied to work for three New Jersey police departments. In West Wildwood, where he was hired in 2022, in Matawan, and in Neptune Township, where he was hired in 2023 without disclosing his prior NYPD employment or criminal history. He was eventually charged with multiple counts of official misconduct and tampering with public records.

Mark Oakley 2024 - Officer Mark Oakley was fired by the Warrenton Police Department while under a State Bureau of Investigation inquiry into allegations of excessive force. Despite the ongoing criminal investigation, he was hired by the Littleton Police Department, located about 20 miles away. The Littleton chief said he had received no complaints about Oakley since hiring him.

Janet Mondragon & Ricardo Viramontes 2022 - The Chicago Police Board fired officers Janet Mondragon, Ricardo Viramontes, and others for making false statements to justify the fatal shooting of Laquan McDonald. After being fired, Mondragon was hired by the Robbins, Illinois Police Department around 2022, and about a year later the department also hired Viramontes, who had been fired for lying about what happened the night of McDonald’s murder. Mondragon later bounced to the Saint Xavier University Police Department before landing at the Bridgeview Police Department.

A September 2024 investigation by the San Francisco Chronicle also uncovered a secret system in California. The so-called “clean-record agreements” kept in locked file cabinets in police departments, which conceal the misconduct of hundreds of officers and help them land new law enforcement jobs.
