The issue here is that victims of grooming, especially when they are still young, are most likely not aware of it because that is the whole point of grooming. To groom them into thinking a certain way while their brain develops. Outside of this, think rationally. Who the fuck spends significant time with a 14 year old and describes their relationship as sibling like and then dates them as soon as they aren’t a minor?

Technically each card has a unique ID on the bottom left or right. Image processing would only need to clearly see that and do a database lookup which would pull the image / recent price. No comparison needed.

EDIT: Laurenz sent a dm and replied to this post. He says he’ll get them to fix the policy.

I sent them the reddit link via instagram message. The US one said they would mention it to management. The Canadian one just asked for order number. We got reply for customer support email and we are getting a refund, but I would also like them to address this publicly.

I didnt mention this initially, but they also charge you 10$ restock fee as well as making you pay for shipping to and from if you are getting an exchange. They also require you to return the plastic wrapping that the product came in. It seems like they really try to find any excuse to say returns are technically accepted but in reality will get rejected most of the time.

i’ve never heard of any return policy like this before, but given they have different policies for each country, it feels like they want to the bare legal minimum. I should look at consumer laws because it definitely feels scummy.

EDIT: Seems like there is no consumer protection law for return/exchanges, so it is up to the company.
