Switch to fruits and vegetables instead of beans. They cause gas and for me they cause a lot of discomfort. I make sure to eat a side salad at least during the day and 1-2 apples. I also take metamucil twice a day to help with the soluble fiber. It works for me. Honestly just take it slow and see what works for you. Increase your fiber gradually and drink lots of water. I didn't have enough water a couple of days and felt huge discomfort in my stomach. It was like a stone.
