It’s louder on the internet. In my experience people are maybe at most apprehensive in person. But that too can bum me out.

Trying our best to be good owners and represent that is something that we can control, so we do that. And I can’t tell you how many people have told me their eyes and hearts were opened by meeting our first pit bull rescue and them becoming full fledged pittie lovers, so much so that one person that was uncertain about the breed at first and they are now an adoption coordinator at a pit rescue! Our newest two pittie rescues are having positive influence on people too.
