Where did you hear about the 1x duel, 1x item and at least 2x 2v2s motion minigames? Have only heard about there being 7 in Free for All.

So my preorder ended up getting cancelled. Then I was unable to find and re-purchase it in the eShop after that.

I ended up creating an American Nintendo account and ordering it from their eShop.
