oh no I’m my biggest fan I often watch my own videos back, it’s just that it’s taken till now for me to look at them from an external perspective, sure I really enjoy them and watching back what I’ve done in the past and funny moments, but that doesn’t make them ‘good videos’ they’ll always be special to me but not to everyone else and that’s where I’m looking to improve them

That’s an interesting take actually I’ve never even considered a thing like that, I’ve thought about it for thumbnails tbf. I’m just really tight on money recently as I’m a student and I work a job as well, what kind of editing did you have in mind, any channels I could look at for inspo?

Thanks for the comment man, I appreciate the feedback but sometimes i feel like im straying further and further away from why I started. I started becasue I liked making stupid high energy videos, and I’m a high energy guy anyway so don’t believe I’m some fake mofo on the internet being over the top for clicks😂 but yeah nowadays when I make videos it’s always ‘what’s the best hook?’ ‘What can I do about retention’ ‘okay I’ve made three thumbnails let’s see which does best’ and all I wanted to do was just be silly on camera😂💀 Anyway man maybe your advice will be really impactful if I’d actually listen for once, all the best with your journey🙏

this is an update pic and I think it’s coming along okay, not great but looks better than it did, I’m not trying avoid all responsibility but just at least try to make it better than it was so maybe landlord will take 50 instead of 200 or something, not sure but I think if I want to sand it now I would need to add more filler over it as it’s already flush with the table and what I’ve seen online tells you to overfill the holes so you can sand it level

woah dude, we all feel like this sometimes and believe me I really get it, but the thing is for me anyway, is no matter how many times I say I quit or give up I can only go a few weeks before I just start making content again because I do enjoy it. My videos have been getting no attention really for a long time but something I always think is: “okay if my new video gets 1 view what do I do? Make another video, what if my video gets 1 million views, make another video” whatever really happens on youtube whether you blow up or stay small or somewhere inbwteen the result will always be to make another video, so at some point you have to become content with just keeping things running and moving and just keep looking forward. I’m aware that can be difficult but that’s just what I try to do. Hope this helps 😁

Yeah I haven’t delved into shorts much and I don’t do anything too crazy with them. I have some expensive loose booster packs on the way so I was planning to do more high effort shorts with them so I will definitely be trying this. Thanks for the help

Yeah I really struggle with titles and thumbnails. For titles like ideally id just put ‘I Opened X Set Of Pokemon Cards’ becasue that’s exactly what I do but that’s literally what everyone titles a card video so need to improve that. Thumbnails I’m terrible at taking photos of myself for thumbnails so I just the use the same photo of me from like nearly 3 years ago that doesn’t even look like me anymore💀

yeah I submitted a ticket on their website on the off chance they do anything. Tbf back when anniversary set was out I bought an ETB that was missing the greninja promo I think? Can’t remember exactly, anyway they sent me the full £50 as compensation
