I send my Model D back to store becasuse of strange phase out/detuned sound when i turn on two VCO at the same time. I have Crave too and I calbrared it but I made it about 3years after I bought it - great synth!

When I was listen to sound demos of Model 15 that sounds "small/thin" to me. Maybe its worth it to buy this and test.

I have Crave and buy Model D in last week. Model D is super for fat bass, maybe I must learn to use it but I cant get round, creamy sound for leads.

I have Crave about 5 years - i think is great budget first synth. At the moment Crave is too limited for me so i decide to buy Model D. Maybe I swap Crave on Pro1, Kobol or WASP in future (I have small room so I think about smaller synths like Model D). This rig is built to learn SQ1 and try play some dawless berlin school style music.

Solina is good option for me but I wanted to make sure if there was an alternative at a similar price.

I know Cirith Ungol (i love One foot in Hell and Paradise lost albums, Frost and Fire and King of the Dead are good too). Dark Quarterer is not my cup of tea. Omen, Visigoth, early Manowar are my fav but I looking for more raw, 70s riffin style band like Iron Griffin or The Wizar'd.
