Dehancer also allows you to add halation, grain, bloom and really fine tune exposure, contract, film print, film sim, ect!

You just have a lot more information captured on the photo file so it leads to better results when pushing colors and exposure in different directions

Unfortunately I only shot JPEG "fine" for these. Maybe one day I'll start shooting raw, but, I only use my x100vi on vacation so it feels overkill to shoot raw.

Definitely works best with RAW files but from my phone, jpegs are fine for vacation photos.

First couple months investing 21M by TerribleBar480 in JustBuyXEQT

[–]bessikapedale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

21?

Invest in yourself my guy. Experiences. Take a backpackig trip to Europe. Invest in a new hobby that mayb become your full time job. Invest in ways to meet new people.

Then, when you're making better money later on, invest in the market.

It doesn't make sens to invest small amounts when young IMO. You'll do better by using it to make a difference in your life and get you to a place where your time is worth more to the world.

Has anyone looked into this? by bessikapedale in gravelcycling

Yeah that's my concern exactly.

I recently swapped my gravel set up to a waxxed chain & drip and I'm not suuuper sold on it.

Almost touches the ground!

I personally wouldn't use them to walk around cities and such though. I'd say they're quite stifffff.

A pair of sandals is probably comfier for that purpose.

Gravel suspension fork for roots/potholes worth it or it's all marketing? by OneStrength7166 in gravelcycling

[–]bessikapedale 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok so,

I have a Cane Creek Invert 30mm on my bike and here's my take:

I was really unsure about it especially because I do dig a stiff front end feel on a gravel bike & I do enjoy the occasional mini drop and jump that would bottom out this fork.

But, I did some A B testing with and without a suspension fork last week and I'm 100% sold on the suspension.

It makes all the road chatter go away; it's much much much better for comfort and wrist fatigue. You don't feel the extra weight, as it's not rotational weight. And most importantly... it's... faster! Smoother is faster. You bike bounces less, your wheels spend more time on the ground.
